Winter Animals Preschool Program

How does local wildlife adapt to winter? From changing coats to storing food, we'll explore how squirrels, raccoons and groundhogs adjust to the cold winter months. $5 per child, $10 maximum. 10:00-11:00am. Registration required

Peanuts, George Washington Carver Homeschool Program

In conjunction with our celebration of Alabama's Bicentennial, we are learning about some of our early commodities and the people who brought their uses to light. We will study about George Washington Carver and his discoveries for peanuts. $8 per child, $16 maximum per family. Registration required.

The Chicken and The Egg

Raised Bed Gardening

Little Red Hen Heritage Homeschool Program

In the story of the little red hen, the hen bakes a loaf of bread. From the time we walk in the door, our senses will be filled with the same aroma that the little red hen experienced as we take the wheat through the process from seed to bread. $8 per child, $16 maximum per family. Life of Tommy Bass with Guest Daryl Patton
